Coffee time with Parents

On 28th March morning, we had a special time with some parents from Kindergarten and Elementary.It was our first time to arrange a coffee time with K&E parent after the pandemic,as we all known that home-school co-operation has become an important part of education,hopefully parents can better understand the school's education philosophy and teaching methods, and also we listen to their suggestions to create a better learning environment for students.

3月28日早上，学校领导与家长们一起度过了特别的“咖啡时间”，共同探讨了如何丰富学生的校园生活以及下个学期的课程设置等需要家校合作的问题。

在当今社会，家校合作已成为教育的重要组成部分。KIS一直重视家校沟通，希望通过这样的活动，让家长们更好地理解学校的教育理念和教学方法，同时也听取家长们的建议，为学生创造更好的学习环境。

Mr.Corey,Director of Kindergarten and Elementary first announced several important events, including the field trip and the Talent Show. He emphasised that these activities were designed to give students a well-rounded development alongside their studies. Our humorous Principal Mr.Suh sent out the invitation of the Talent Show, warmly welcomed our parents to stand on the stage to perform together！

小学主任Mr.Corey首先宣布了这个学期几个重要活动，包括秋游和期末文艺演出。他强调，这些活动旨在让学生在学习之余，增强身体素质德智体美劳全面发展。幽默控场的校长Mr.Suh作为本次交流会的主持人，热情地邀请家长们参加文艺演出，引得家长们哄堂大笑。

Parents showed great concern about changing the main subject textbook. We understand that parents have questions about potential curriculum adjustments,and this with no doubt is a big challenge for our school too.Also,parents gave many valuable suggestions and hoped that the school field trip could focus on the cultivation of students' interests while ensuring their academic performance.

接下来，家长们对新学年课程设置问题表现出了极大的关注。下个学期，小学将会更换主科目的教材，教育体系可能和现有的大有不同，这无疑是对我们的一大挑战，目前课程正在逐步完善中。关于课后活动课的设计和春秋游的安排，家长们也提出了许多宝贵的建议，非常感谢他们的支持和理解。

We also recognize the importance of creating opportunities for parents to engage in their child's school life in a fun and interactive way. Therefore, we plan to organize a small quiz game,and the won team will get the 50% coupon of the school uniform.It is will not only foster a sense of community and connection but also provide parents with the chance to be naive.

为了增加活动的趣味性，活动中还设有互动问答环节，获胜的队伍将会获得校服50%折扣券。家长们变身小学生的立场，猜猜我们学生的小心思。比如，学生们在“上学时，我最经常忘带的东西?”这个问题上，“作业”的选项深得学生们的心，相信大部分学生都有过这样的经历吧！

This "Communication Time" activity achieved remarkable results thanks for every parents’ coming and advisement.Parents and the leadership team took a group photo together and expressed their expectations for closer home-school co-operation in the future. students.

活动的最后，家长们写下了对这次活动的感想和学校的建议，之后我们会一一对家长们的期待做出回应。所有人一起合照留念，表达了对未来更加紧密的家校合作的期待。
