Chinese Dictation Competition

Yesterday afternoon, KIS Middle & High School held a Chinese Dictation Competition. At the competition site, students from different grades gathered together to participate in this intense and passionate competition. The students showed their love and hard work in learning Chinese, the trophies have served as a great motivator, igniting their fighting spirit and driving them to push themselves to the limit

昨天下午，KIS中学部举办了中文听写比赛。在比赛现场，来自不同年级的学生们齐聚一堂，紧张而充满激情地参与着这场角逐，学生们展现出了对中文学习的热爱和努力，桌面上摆放的奖杯更是激发了他们的斗志。

The competition was held on an elimination basis and covered a wide range of topics such as words and idioms, testing the students' Chinese listening, writing and comprehension skills. At the beginning of the competition, the students showed good performance with their solid basic skills.As the difficulty of the questions gradually increased, some of the contestants were unfortunately eliminated, but those who stood out remained undaunted and bravely met the challenges.

比赛采用淘汰制，题目涵盖了词语、成语等多个方面，考验着学生们的汉语听力、书写和理解能力。比赛刚开始，学生们凭借着扎实的基本功，展现出了良好的竞技状态。随着比赛题目难度逐渐提升，部分选手很可惜地被淘汰了，脱颖而出的选手们依然毫不畏惧，勇敢地迎接挑战。

In the end, after rounds and rounds of fierce competition,as the results were announced, the room erupted in a chorus of cheers and applause.

These students won the warm applause from the whole audience with their outstanding performance.

最终，经过一轮又一轮的激烈比拼，获奖者诞生了!

他们凭借出色的表现，赢得了全场观众的热烈掌声。

KIS has always been committed to developing students' cross-cultural communication skills, and throughout the competition, students not only practiced their Chinese language skills, but also cultivated the spirit of teamwork and a sense of competition. Thanks to the teachers of the Chinese Department for their meticulous preparation before the competition, and thanks to the hard work of every student who participated in the competition,they have made the event a very exciting and rewarding experience for everyone involved.

KIS一直致力于培养学生的跨文化沟通能力,在整个比赛过程中，学生们不仅锻炼了中文能力，还培养了团队合作精神和竞争意识。感谢中文部教师们细致的赛前准备工作，感谢每一位参赛的学生付出的努力，即使没有获得名次，相信这也是一次非常不错的学习经验。
