Welcome to KIS

Chairman JongJin Park

We sincerely welcome all of you who have visited our school website with interest in the development and changes of the school.

KIS was founded in 2005 in Shenzhen, China under the founding philosophy of 'Knowledge, Integrity, Service.' KIS has been fostering a diverse community with students from 28 different countries and various cultural backgrounds.

With this environment, all KIS staff members are committed to fostering global talents who respect and understand diversity, learn communication and collaboration beyond various languages and backgrounds, and grow and mature together with each student.

In the "New Normal" era, students and educators must constantly contemplate what kind of talents are demanded by the changing times. KIS strives not only to "share knowledge" but also to create an environment where students can "discover" knowledge by themselves, in response to rapid social development.

We express our gratitude to the parents who have entrusted their children to KIS, and we will continuously work towards establishing common visions and goals through ongoing communication and collaboration. We will strive to be a united KIS.

A Gateway to Happiness in Education

Hello, I am Principal Joseph Suh of KIS Middle and High school.

It is a great pleasure for me to greet all of you. KIS is a school for students studying abroad. Students from various nationalities and cultures gather here in China, a foreign land. Our students are all precious talents who will grow into global citizens. We are doing our best to ensure that they can complete their school life happily, healthily, and successfully.

KIS has excellent teachers who study together with students. Our teachers love, respect, and understand students more than anyone else. Teachers united by skill and passion will improve students' learning abilities and serve as role models in terms of character. The entire staff of KIS is assisting all students in having a healthy school life. We guide them to grow intellectually and emotionally through various activities and experiences.

KIS is an AP authorized school and an SAT authorized center. Students who diligently complete the educational curriculum are prepared to enter universities where they can achieve their dreams. Even in high school, we offer courses to prepare for AP and SAT exams, guiding students to prepare sincerely.

With a fatherly heart, I love the students of KIS and will do my best as the principal to help them grow. Welcome to KIS.

Hello. I am Dr. Daniel Lim, and I am honored to serve as the Principal of KIS Preschool and Elementary.

The move to our new campus marks the beginning of a new era for KIS and we have an opportunity to move toward an even higher quality of education.

My vision for KIS is to become a school where our students come alive — a school where each student’s unique strengths in character and talents are discovered and developed. Through these strengths, students will not only grow personally but also learn to contribute to the growth and development of others and the broader community.

At KIS, we believe that true education goes beyond the acquisition of knowledge.

It is the formation of character and the discovery and development of each student’s unique strengths. We are committed to recognizing and nurturing the strengths of every child—both in character and in talent.

We believe that each student is uniquely gifted, and that these strengths are to be cultivated with care, intentionality, and purpose.

Our goal is not only personal achievement, but meaningful contribution.

We guide students to use their strengths to grow as individuals, to serve others, and to positively impact the school community and beyond.
